The Metis Energy Corporation (MEC) was incorporated in early 2006 to pursue energy related opportunities in Labrador. MEC entered into a limited partnership agreement with Ventus Energy to pursue a large scale wind park development near Churchill Falls, Labrador called the Labrador Ventus Limited Partnership.
